I've felt guilty for days now since I took my 84 year old Cuz to Jason's Deli in Bedford where he bit into the toothpick stuck in his sandwich and broke off a bicuspid. Because he couldn't see the toothpick. Teeth are not repaired easily, and when I encouraged him to call his dentist he seemed too depressed about having to get transportation, etc. Reminded me that as you age, things don't get much easier. Hope yours fixes easy..

Teeth break. Try not to blame yourself for your cousin's, though I know guilt, even when we know it's unfounded, is insidious. And it's hypocritical of me to tell you not to make a big deal out of it, in light of my own existential spiral. Getting around as we age, especially in a part of the country where mass transit isn't widespread, is difficult.

I went to the dentist yesterday, and it's just going to need a crown, so not too bad. Thanks for reading.

When I had to verify my authenticity, I forgot what I was going to say. HAHAHAHAHAHa This is so true. If it is any consolation, I am no longer concerned about our youth oriented culture. However, there are other concerns about aging, like- I could go any minute.
