We all have to stand up to parents at some time. I was there when my wife was yelling at her dad on a snowy peak while skiing. My time was at home when their inquiries went over my line. Authority almost never goes unabused, given enough time and opportunity. Our tone of defiance will either haunt us or enhance our character over the succeeding years.
Haunt us or enhance our character indeed. That's something to contemplate. The act of standing up to your parents is something of a rite of passage, I suppose. I can envision this snowy peak and the yelling. Thank you for sharing.
This was a great read! Thanks for sharing your insight, April.
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment! Appreciate you.
Great read April !! I am absolutely sure that your Dad was, and always Will Be, PROUD of you. 😍❤
Thanks, Doug. I enjoyed catching up with you over Thanksgiving. Tell your cat I said, "hello!"
